Affordable Spay & Neuter Care for Lake County Pets
In doing our part to lower the incidence of unwanted cat and dog litters, LSAR provides low cost spay and neuter options to low income individuals and families in Lake County in the form of certificates and clinics. A co-pay is required in both instances and LSAR will cover the majority of the cost of surgery.
Clinics & Certificates
Here's what to know about our monthly clinics and low-income certificate program.
Monthly Clinics
- FrequencyOnce a Month
- Availability10 Spots
Clinics are limited to 10 spots — contact LSAR for the next scheduled date. Call or email us to apply and for current pricing.
Spay/Neuter Certificates
We are limited to 12 certificates each month; households can request up to 3 per month. Must be a Lake County resident.
Call LSAR's main number first to determine if you are eligible for a certificate and/or if any are still available that month: (406) 676-4200.
Payment can be made by check or money order mailed to LSAR @ PO Box 643, Polson, MT 59860, or you can use Venmo, PayPal, or Credit Card on our website under the Donate section. Please note payments sent through the mail can take a week to 10 days to receive and process.
Do not make an appointment with your vet until you have called LSAR first.
Co-pay pricing for clinics and certificates varies — and is different for stray and feral animals — so please call or email us to apply and we'll walk you through current pricing.
